FLIGHT 33 is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization and relies extensively on donations to fund its various programs that include after-school activities, tutoring, music lessons, and filed trips. There are multiple ways to give.

    Monetary Donations
    Financial gifts, including grocery or store gift cards, are used to buy shoes, school clothes, and school supplies for up to 100 children, a weekly meal for 25 children, and for emergency food boxes for 15 families a month. Donated funds are also used to pay for operating expenses, although these are minimal because of FLIGHT 33s reliance on volunteers.

    Planned or Legacy Gifts
    In addition to donations to provide for current needs, thoughtful planning today sustains programs for the future. Remember FLIGHT 33 in your will, or leave a legacy of hope through a trust or estate plan. Income and estate tax benefits may result from such a gift.     Non-Monetary Gifts
    Throughout the year, FLIGHT 33 has collections of various items, such as new shoes, school supplies and grocery gift cards. Unfortunately we are unable to accept used items. Please call (480) 392-9862 or e-mail us for more information.

Volunteers



Volunteers can help in the following ways:

  • Meet after school with youth for tutoring, games, a meal and conversation
  • Accompany 15-20 youth on outings to movies, bowling, museums
  • Meet with various teens as needed to explore possibilities that will assist them in reaching a goal finding educational programs, scholarships, camps, job training, music lessons, etc.
  • Assist in sponsoring music concerts, art shows, or events in which teens can showcase their talents 3 times a year
  • Work with youth in service opportunities in which youth can see a purpose and care about others 4 times a year
  • Assist families of youth when necessary food boxes, clothing, referrals, etc.
