As a volunteer, you can:
Meet with students K to 12, on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4 to 5:30 pm for homework help, skill practice, educational games, snack, and conversation.
Assist or develop programs to encourage literacy, technology, STEM, art, music education or writing skills.
Host a workshop or class for students in photography, art, music, or whatever skill you have to offer!
Assist in hosting events to showcase students’ talents.
Assist teens in locating resources for job training, educational programs, camps, music lessons, etc.
Volunteers are not required to both tutoring sessions, but we ask that you commit to at least one a week to ensure consistency and to build relationships with the students.
